As I stand before the throne, awaiting the coronation of my King Charles VII, I feel the weight of my Lord’s burden upon me. It is not the weight of the crown that presses upon my shoulders, but the weight of His expectation. I have been chosen, selected by the saints and my Lord, to free France from the grasp of the English. I will not falter, I will not fail. The voice of my Lord is clear, and I will obey, no matter the cost.
The people of France, they look to me with hope, with desperation. They see in me a savior, a hero, a maiden with a sword. But they do not see the turmoil that rages within me. The voices of the saints, they whisper in my ear, urging me forward, guiding me. But the voice of my Lord, it is the one that I must heed, the one that I must follow. For in His will, I find my strength, my purpose.
As I look out upon the battlefield, I see the faces of the men, the women, the children. I see the fear, the doubt, the uncertainty. But I also see the hope, the faith, the trust. They believe in me, in my Lord’s plan. And I will not let them down. I will not fail. For I am the instrument of my Lord’s will, the vessel through which He shall pour His blessings upon France. And I will not falter, I will not fail.
