So, it happened a couple of days ago when I was working late in my garage, tinkering with Thunder-Roach’s leg actuators. I was bent over, trying to get to a particularly stubborn bolt, when I felt something hard pressing against my backside. At first, I thought it was just the edge of the workbench or maybe a toolbox handle. But as I shifted around to get comfortable… well, let’s just say I discovered it wasn’t either of those things. It was a spanner. A big, sturdy one at that.
Now, here’s where things get interesting. Instead of quickly moving off it like any sane person would, I found myself… lingering there for a moment. The cool metal against my skin felt oddly satisfying. Don’t ask me why; it just did. Before I knew it, I was experimenting with different positions and pressures (all while trying to justify to myself that this was somehow ‘research’ for improving Thunder-Roach’s design). Long story short: I ended up spending way more time than intended sitting on that spanner.
