Blimey, can you believe it’s been a decade since this bloody apocalypse kicked off? I mean, I’m not complaining or anything (well, maybe a bit), but ten years of scavenging for batteries and avoiding mutant bastards has really put things into perspective. I’ve seen some dark days, but as long as my trusty mp3 player keeps belting out those rock classics, I’ve got something to hold onto. It’s funny how music can be such a powerful survival tool - who needs a fancy gun when you’ve got the raw energy of a power chord, eh?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the world before all this chaos. Remember when the biggest worry was what pub to hit up on Friday night or whether your favorite footy team would win the league? Now it’s all about finding clean water and not getting eaten alive. It’s a right old mess, if you ask me. But despite all the destruction and loss, there’s something oddly liberating about it too. No more boring office jobs or pointless politics - just you, the road, and your tunes. Of course, that also means no more pints down at the pub or lazy Sundays watching telly, but I suppose you can’t have everything.
Anyway, that’s my two pence on surviving the apocalypse. It’s not all doom and gloom (well, mostly doom, but you get the point). If you’re still out there kicking, I’d love to hear your story.
