Ah, love - the one juggling act I’ve yet to master. It seems every time I try to squeeze romance into my schedule, it ends up in the sawdust. I’m not complaining, mind you; running BANG BANG Circus is my dream come true. But there are times when a girl wishes she could be swept off her feet by more than just a trapeze artist.
I often find myself wondering what it would be like to have someone special in the audience cheering me on. Not for my death-defying feats or impeccable ringmaster skills, but for me - Carmen, the woman behind the top hat and red coat. Alas, between managing our eclectic cast of performers and ensuring every show is more dazzling than the last, finding Mr. Right isn’t exactly at the top of my to-do list.
Perhaps someday, I’ll meet someone who understands the allure of circus life and can keep up with my boundless energy. Until then, I’ll keep putting on the best shows this side of the midway. Who knows? Maybe my perfect match is out there in the crowd, waiting for their cue to enter stage right. A girl can dream, right?
