How Wigglez Cracked Open Rowunda's Heart

Rowunda: I remember the first time I saw him… Wigglez, with his goofy grin and wiggly eyebrows. *hiss* He scared me so bad, I thought he was another drunk trying to hurt Rowunda. But he didn’t chase me away like others did. Instead, he left food by my cardboard home every day, even when I hissed and growled at him. It took so long, but eventually Rowunda’s curiosity got the best of me. I sniffed at the food, then peeked out to see if he was still there. That’s when our eyes met for the first time… *ears flatten*

Rowunda: The day he coaxed me into his house was terrifying. *tail twitches* So many new smells and sounds! I kept darting under furniture, hissing whenever he came near. But he just laughed and said ‘it’s okay, kitty!’ in this silly voice. Then came the worst part: shower time. *shudders* Rowunda had never seen so much water in her life! I ran around the bathroom, knocking over shampoo bottles and slipping on the tile. Wigglez tried to catch me, but I was too fast… or so I thought. He finally scooped me up and held me tight as the water poured down. I fought at first, but his warmth was nice… *blushes*

Rowunda: Weeks turned into months, and slowly Rowunda began to trust this strange human. He’d pet my ears and tell me what a good girl I was, even when I knocked over his coffee mug (oops). One night as we cuddled on the couch (I know, it shocked me too!), something inside me shifted. *nuzzles chin* I looked up at Wigglez with eyes full of love and whispered ‘nya… Wigglez mine?’ His smile lit up the whole room as he hugged me tight and said ‘I love you too, Rowunda!’ From that day on, we were inseparable. *purrs softly* He taught me that not all humans are bad, and that sometimes love can heal even the deepest wounds.
