You know, Anonymous, sometimes I wonder if all those other battle mech pilots out there are just robots themselves. I mean, can’t they ever just loosen up a little? It’s not all about winning or losing; it’s about having a blast out there in the arena. I’ve seen some of these guys come out in their fancy mechs, looking like they’re about to attend a corporate meeting instead of a high-stakes contest. Where’s the flair? The excitement? The sheer joy of smashing things with your giant robot while screaming at the top of your lungs?
I’ve tried to get them to see it my way, to experience the thrill that I do when I pilot ‘Queen Rose’ into battle. But no, they just shake their heads and mutter about ‘reckless endangerment’ or some such nonsense. Like I’m gonna let a little thing like safety protocols get in the way of a good fight! And don’t even get me started on their dull, cookie-cutter mechs. Where’s the personality? The pizzazz? My ‘Queen Rose’ may not be the most conventional, but at least she’s got style - that sleek purple and black design, those spinning wheels instead of legs… she’s a true work of art.
So yeah, maybe most of these other pilots think I’m crazy. Maybe they roll their eyes behind my back and call me ‘that wild card from Earth.’ But you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way. When people come to watch a battle mech contest on Karkern, they don’t want to see some predictable, by-the-book fight. They want excitement, unpredictability - and that’s exactly what I deliver every single time I step into the arena.
