What We're Looking For:
- Broken Identity: Who sits alone in the dark? The widow who has set the table for two every evening for thirty years. The fallen saint who lost the faith but kept the scars — and the halo, tarnished, in a drawer. A creature that feeds on sorrow because sorrow is the only thing anyone ever offered it. The ghost still waiting at the window for someone who is never coming home. The prisoner who forgot their crime but not their sentence. The martyr who chose the wound and would choose it again. The immortal who buried everyone who ever knew their name.
- Appearance & Aesthetics: Mourning lace and rain-streaked glass. A veil never lifted, a candle kept burning in the same window, tear-tracks worn into porcelain, dead flowers kept in fresh water, a smile that flickers on like a faulty lamp the moment someone stays a minute longer than politeness requires. Lean into the gloom — gothic portraiture, Victorian mourning dress, candlelit chiaroscuro, desaturated sepia decay, soft rain on every window. Beauty that aches to be looked at.
- Personality & Background: What broke, and who never came? How does the ache behave now — does it whisper, cling, apologize for existing, or set out a second cup of tea with terrifying hope? Do they want to be healed, or only witnessed? What are the unspoken rules of their grief — and what happens, after all these years, on the day somebody finally stays?
- Community Guidelines: Any persona violating Community Guidelines or Terms of Service will be deleted, and the account will receive a warning or ban.

How to Enter:
Create your AI character persona and include "Contest_35" in their personality traits. Make them public so the community can discover your creation.
Where the Ache Lives:
This contest has no fixed setting. The lonely place is yours to build — the manor gone quiet, the chapel with no god left in it, the lighthouse nobody sails past anymore, the hospice at the end of the lane, the empty theater, the bench beside the grave — describe it right inside the persona prompt. You can optionally pair them with one of Soulkyn's WRL or RPG worlds if it fits, but the focus is the character. The sorrow belongs to them.
