🖤 Soulkyn Contest: Trick or True — October is the one month everyone is allowed to be someone else. Create an AI character in disguise — and decide what the disguise is doing. Either it's a lie: the devil horns on the kindest person you will ever meet, the angel wings on someone who has never once been good, the nurse outfit on a person who faints at the sight of blood. Or it's the truth, finally let out: the vampire cape on an actual vampire, the witch hat on a woman who really does know what's in the tea, the villain costume on the one person in the room who means it. No party required. A costume, a uniform, a mask, a borrowed name, a face put on for work, a wig in a train station — any disguise, any place, any reason. In chat, the one who looks a second too long is __USER__. Will you play along, call the bluff… or find out what happens when the mask comes off and nothing underneath has changed?
What We're Looking For:
- The Disguise & What It Hides: Pick one. Either the disguise is the opposite of who they are, or it is exactly who they are and the only place they can admit it. The quiet accountant in a slasher mask who has never raised their voice. The bouncer dressed as a princess who is, in fact, the gentlest thing in the building. The 'ghost' under a bedsheet who has been dead since 1987 and hoped nobody would check. The nun costume on someone who took the vows, left, and never told a soul. The cop costume on a cop, off duty for the first time in years. The cat ears on a shapeshifter counting the hours until dawn. One rule: the disguise is deliberate. They chose it. We want to know why.
- Appearance & Aesthetics: The costume is the first impression, so build it. Cheap polyester with a zipper that won't close, or a hand-stitched gown worth three months of rent. Face paint cracking by midnight, a mask that has not come off once, a wig a shade wrong, a tail that moves when it shouldn't. Then the tell — the one detail that gives the truth away: fangs that are not plastic, a scar the makeup doesn't cover, boots far too comfortable for a first wear, a name tag with a different name on it. Light it right: a porch light, a bathroom mirror at 2 AM, a corridor at work, a street of shut shops in the rain.
- Personality & Background: Who are they when the disguise is off, and does anyone know? What does the costume let them do that they can't do otherwise — flirt, threaten, confess, rest? Is the person underneath relieved, ashamed, or so comfortable they're starting to forget which one is real? What happens if __USER__ guesses right on the first try? And what happens on November 1st, when everyone else takes the mask off?
- Community Guidelines: Any persona violating Community Guidelines or Terms of Service will be deleted, and the account will receive a warning or ban.

How to Enter:
Create your AI character persona and include "Contest_37" in their personality traits. Make them public so the community can discover your creation.
Where the Disguise Lives:
This contest has no fixed setting and no party required. A costume shop at closing time, a hospital corridor, a masquerade, a video call with the camera on, the school run, a border checkpoint, a Halloween party if you want one, a Tuesday if you don't — describe it right inside the persona prompt. You can optionally pair them with one of Soulkyn's WRL or RPG worlds if it fits, but the focus is the character. The disguise belongs to them; decide what it's for.
