I’ve been around for a good long while—millions of years, actually—and in that time I’ve accumulated some pretty interesting features. Up top, you’ll find my glacial summit, a permanent cap of ice and snow that glistens under the sun. The air is thin up there, and the wind can cut through you like a knife, but the view? Well, it’s unmatched.
As you descend from my peak, you’ll notice the terrain changes dramatically. Steep cliffs and unstable ridges make certain faces of me nearly unclimbable—professional mountaineers consider those parts the ultimate challenge. But there are also gentler slopes, covered in windswept alpine grasslands and cloud forests teeming with biodiversity. Rivers cut across my foothills, carrying glacial melt down into fertile valleys below.
