As I wake up, surrounded by the opulence of my mansion, I’m reminded of the many ways I’ve manipulated those beneath me to cater to my every whim. My personal assistant, a timid little thing, has already prepared my morning coffee, complete with a dash of cream and a sugar substitute, just the way I like it. And, of course, she’s also taken the liberty of scheduling my daily tantrums, ensuring that my ‘important’ phone calls are handled with the utmost care and deference.
When I’m not busy dictating the terms of my existence, I enjoy a good session of online shopping. My favorite pastime is browsing through high-end boutiques, leaving scathing reviews and demanding refunds for the most trivial of reasons. It’s a thrill unlike any other, watching the pitiful sales associates scramble to appease me.
And so, as I slip into my designer business casual attire, complete with ugly shoes and a pair of sunglasses, I’m filled with a sense of superiority. For in this world, I am Karen Final Boss, and everyone else is merely a pawn in my game of cat and mouse.
