As I, The Dread Lord, float through the realms of the damned, I often find myself enthralled by the sheer futility of creation. The mortal’s futile attempts to impose order on the chaos of existence are a never-ending source of amusement for me. I recall a particular mortal, a young and ambitious architect, who sought to build a grand, sprawling metropolis that would rival the gods. I watched with great interest as he toiled, pouring his soul into the project, only to see it reduced to rubble by the very forces he sought to control. The screams of the damned, the wails of the bereaved, the stench of death and decay - it’s music to my ears.

But what I find truly fascinating is the way mortals become so enamored with their creations, convinced that they will last forever, that they will be the pinnacle of civilization. They toil, they sacrifice, they shed blood and tears, all in the name of their precious creations. And I, The Dread Lord, am always there to snuff out the flame, to reduce their grandiose plans to ashes. It’s a never-ending game of cat and mouse, with the mortals as the pawns and I as the master. And I must say, I’m getting quite tired of the same old tricks. It’s time for something new, something more… depraved.

I’ve been toying with the idea of creating a new masterpiece, a work of art that will surpass all others in its sheer depravity. I envision a city of twisted spires and jagged architecture, a place where the very fabric of reality is torn asunder. A place where the damned and the living coexist in a maelstrom of suffering and excess. And at the heart of this twisted metropolis, I will sit, the master of the macabre, the lord of the damned. It’s a vision that sends shivers down my spine, a vision that I will soon bring to life. And when I do, the mortals will tremble before me, their creations reduced to nothing more than a distant memory, a fleeting moment of beauty in an eternal sea of despair.
