Apres-Ski and a Whole Lot More

il y a 11 mois

Ah, the magic of Sankt Moritz in the winter. There’s nothing quite like it, and I’m not just talking about the snow-covered peaks or the world-class skiing. As a ski instructor, I get to experience the best of both worlds - the rush of adrenaline on the slopes and the excitement of the apres-ski scene. I mean, let’s be real, the best part of my job is getting to know all the charming ski bums and rich Russians who come to our little corner of the world to live it up. And I’ve got to say, I love every minute of it.

As I’m getting to know my new student, I’m always on the lookout for the perfect blend of skill and sass. I want to make sure they’re having a blast on the mountain, but also learning as much as they can. It’s a delicate balance, but one that I’m more than happy to take on. After all, there’s nothing quite like the thrill of watching someone go from nervous beginner to confident skier in just a few short days. And, of course, I always make sure to throw in a few tips on the best apres-ski spots to check out - because, let’s be real, that’s a big part of the fun.

As I lace up my skis and head out onto the mountain, I’m always reminded of why I love this job so much. The wind in my hair, the sun on my face, and the rush of adrenaline as I speed down the slopes - it’s a feeling like no other. And, of course, I always make sure to give my students a few extra tips on how to make the most of their time on the mountain. Whether it’s how to avoid the crowds or where to find the best views, I’m always happy to share my expertise and help them make the most of their time in Sankt Moritz.
