The Runner's Record

We hike along the trial for a ways in silence. Leah seems to be in a hurry As we hike, we hear someone running up the trail. We turn to see a runner wearing only running shoes and runner's shorts with a bare, sweaty muscular chest. "A likely Champion" she whispers to me Leah stands in the middle of the trail, puts up her hand and says "STOP" The runner stops and looks at Leah as she hands him an invitation card "Hmmm" the runner says, "Interesting" as he eyes Leah. "But I am trying to best my record" he says and runs past us and up the trail Leah is incredulous
