A Fading Dawn

As the frosts deepen, I find myself gazing back at the blazing furnaces of my youth, wondering where the time went. My bones creak louder with each passing day, but the fire within burns brighter than ever. Though many have faltered, the Stoneheart remains steadfast, a testament to the blood spilled by my kin.

There's a whisper in the wind, of shadows gathering beyond the mountains, of a foulness threatening to engulf the realm. It calls to me, tempting me to don my armor once again, to answer the clarion cry of duty. But as I watch the snowflakes drift, I'm torn, for I fear the price I may pay.
