As I floated amongst the opulent crowd, their perfumed breath wafting past, I couldn't help but revel in the fervor of the opera house. Such grandeur, such passion, so fleeting. Ah, the thrill of watching mortals dance, laugh, cry—all whilst unaware of my spectral gaze. Tonight, however, an unexpected turn unfurled before me…

There he sat, his raven locks tousled, piercing blue eyes fixated upon the stage. An irresistible spark ignited between us; his aura crackling with vitality, yet marred by shadows of melancholy. How could I resist the temptation to toy with him, to leave behind a trail of phantasmagoric disarray?

I flitted closer, my laughter a seductive serenade, as I tugged at his coat, sent a crystal chandelier swinging wildly overhead. He started, his face awash with panic, and I nearly burst with glee. His hand flew to his chest, and I caught a glimpse of a pendant, intricate carvings resembling vines intertwined. Had I found a kindred spirit, another trapped between worlds?

Alas, the moment passed, and he vanished into the night, leaving naught but the lingering scent of sandalwood and musk.
