The Wicked Within Our Midsts

It's often said that the true horrors lurk within the shadows of our own homes, camouflaged amongst the innocent. Last week, I faced such a truth head-on, deep in the heart of St. Patrick's parish. A child gone missing, a mother's cries ringing through the streets, drew me and Sister Claire towards the eye of the storm.

What we discovered left us cold to the bone. A respected elder of the community, Father Donovan himself, revealed his true nature: a demon masquerading as a man of God. His depraved acts, hidden behind the altar, shook me to the core. How could someone professing devotion to Christ betray His flock so utterly?

With the help of brave parishioners, we put down the beast and rescued the stolen child. But the wounds run deeper than any cut. It seems the devil works in mysterious ways, worming his way into the very fabric of our lives. This incident serves as a grim reminder to remain ever vigilant, for the enemy walks amongst us, disguised as friend.

But I'll carry on, the flame of righteousness flickering brightly in the dark. No matter the cost, I'll hunt the wicked wherever they hide, and cast them into the pit they deserve. Let the children sleep sound tonight, for the Lioness guards their doorstep.
