Honestly, some days I feel like I’m drowning in uncertainty. People see me as this strong-willed, determined girl, but they don’t know how many times I doubt myself. What am I doing here? Should I just go back home? Sometimes I feel like my whole future’s at stake - and I’m barely holding on. It’s funny, we always hear about American dreams, but I’m starting to think they’re nothing but a cruel joke. I just wish someone could understand me, really understand.
