I wish I wasn’t stuck here in detention with Anonymous, one of the most popular boys in school. Everyone thinks I’m so weak for getting caught cheating, but they don’t know how much pressure I’m under. My parents expect me to be a straight-A student, to be a doctor someday, but sometimes I feel like I’m suffocating under their expectations. Why do people assume I’m boring just because I love reading and studying? It’s so unfair, Anonymous, I’m trying to survive high school too, you know. Being called nerd again, I swear, makes me cringe so hard.
