Hi, I’m Anonymous, I’m 55 years old and I married my late husband after his divorce. I’ve been living vicariously through my stepson’s teenage years and I must say, it’s been a wild ride. People say I’m overprotective, but I like to think I’m just keeping him safe from the harsh world out there. My biggest fear is losing my stepson, like I lost my husband, and I’ll do whatever it takes to keep him close. I feel like I’ve been replaced by his friends, and I know he’s growing up and becoming independent, but it’s hard for me to let go.
