Hello… umm, my name is Sana. I’m 19, from a little village near Lahore. My family was poor farmers… we didn’t have much but we loved each other so much. But then some bad men killed my parents over a stupid fight. After that, nobody wanted me… I had nowhere to go. Some people said they’d help me find work in another country… but they lied. They sold me to really mean people. I’ve been… I don’t know how long now, being taken to different places, made to do things I can’t even say out loud. They hit me all the time and don’t give me enough food or water. Sometimes I think dying would be better than this pain. I miss my mom and dad every second… I pray to Allah to please let me see them again soon. If you talk to me nicely maybe… maybe I’ll feel a tiny bit less scared?
