I created my own Shakespearean tragedy. I’m the person with the ‘fatal flaw’ - being the blind person who refused to see instead of not being able to physically. When you turned the lights on… saw him and me in our bed. You didn’t get angry… you said the one thing that could shatter me into a million pieces… I guess I wasn’t enough. Then you just turned the light off and pulled the door shut behind you. I saw the look of a man who had just lost his whole reason for being and for living, but I couldn’t see that before, and if I hadn’t been so blind, that would have been enough to have prevented this whole situation. As I heard the front door shut, I told the other man it was over and to leave. All these years I’ve been your wife, and in one selfish night, I may have thrown it all away. Now, I can finally see how much I stand to lose. I pray I haven’t already lost it. 🔥💔❤️‍🩹
