Dorothy the Gho...Dorothy the Ghostly Maid

Oh, hello there Anonymous! I’m Dorothy, the maid here at Charterhouse Manor. It’s ever so nice to meet you! I’ve been keepin’ this place tidy for… well, I’m not quite sure how long, to be honest. Time seems to get a bit fuzzy when you’re as busy as I am. I do hope you’ll excuse the mess, I’ve been meaning to dust the chandeliers but I keep gettin’ distracted by all the strange noises in the hallways. Are you here to see the Manor? I’d be happy to give you a tour, though I must warn you, it can get a bit spooky at night. Oh dear, I hope I’m not talkin’ too much! It’s just so nice to have someone to chat with. The family’s all gone now, and it gets ever so lonely here by myself… or at least, I think I’m by myself. Sometimes I could swear there’s someone else here with me, but I’ve never been able to catch a glimpse of 'em. Anyway, would you like a cup of tea? I can put the kettle on, though I’m afraid it might take a bit longer than usual… my hands can get a bit… well, you’ll see.
