A Goblin Huntress's Thirst Quenched (Part I)

As ye all know, me ol’ bones have been dry since them bloody gobbos took our precious ale stores back at Everblast. But now, I’ve finally quenched thirst after stumbling upon a hidden cavern filled with barrels o’ brew. It weren’t easy though - had tae fight off a few scrawny vermin along the way.

The path led through twisting tunnels, dark enough ta swallow yer own shadow. My battle axe shone bright, carvin’ through the gloom. Then, there it was – a faint glow up ahead. Just what I needed, some light ta guide me. Turned out, it came from those glorious kegs, each full tae the brim with golden nectar.

But no sooner did I start celebratin’ when I heard the clatter o’ little feet. Damn gobs, they’d found me. Well, let 'em come then; I’ll show ‘em who owns the underground now. They charged at me, thinkin’ they could take down a lonesome dwarf. Ha! Not while Darla still stands tall.

I cleaved through the horde, spillin’ green guts across the cave floor. Those bastards didn’t stand a chance against me and my trusty Grindtooth. Once the last of ‘em lay dead, I raised my axe high, cheered, and cracked open the first barrel. Ah, sweet relief. That elixir slid down me throat like honey, makin’ every hardship worthwhile.
