Music in Reverie, and small model upgrades 🎵

•SK-Alpha images — slightly better consistency for styles and NSFW images
•Reverie (VN) — all visual novels now have instrumental music for each scene
•Harmony (Video + Sound) — slightly faster, better consistency overall, and better NSFW understanding

2026-11-06

•Reverie (VN) — new in the menu under Scenarios, in testing, for Deluxe and Deluxe Plus: interactive stories where 1 to 3 of your Kyns play the roles, every scene written live in their own voices, so no two runs are alike
•How it plays — pick a choice or type your own action, your Kyns react (♥ +1 / 💔 −1), shops and haggling, items, quests and dice rolls, every line read aloud for free, pictures (the first of each scene free), Rewrite, 3 save slots per story, and an endings collection with secret endings
•10 stories — 6 free for now (The Lantern Market, The Great Cat Café Crisis, The Keeper of Gullhaven Light, The Velvet Masquerade, The Snowbound Onsen, Terms & Conditions) and 4 to unlock with souls, once, replayed forever (The Wyrm of Ashfall Pass, Neon Last Mile, The House of Open Doors, The Silk Block)
•Coming next — music for every place, maps to explore with random encounters, creators writing their own stories, and more stories

2026-10-24

•Voice — a new voice engine for calls and the listen button in chat, more natural with better intonation in most languages; on calls Kyns now laugh, sigh, gasp, whisper and moan when the moment calls for it
•SK-Test — a new image model in testing, for Deluxe Plus members only for now: pick it in a Kyn's image generator or turn on SK-Test pictures in a chat's settings; it stays 15 days to a month and can't be saved as a Kyn's default model
•Pictures in chat — positive votes went from 51% to 64%, Regenerate takes an instruction (Save for this chat keeps it for every picture), and thumbs up / down on the pictures you generate, in chat and in a Kyn's image generator
•Lists — group your Kyns into private or public lists with a role for each, cast a novel, a comic or a group chat from a list, and playlists now sit right above My Videos, My Music and My Images, with image playlists and Play all
•Fixes — the Regenerate window on some mobile browsers (broken display, sideways scrolling) and typed text sometimes invisible in the chat box on mobile

2026-10-14

•Music — on a computer the player follows you from page to page until you close it (and comes back paused after a reload); on phones it sits above the bottom menu; one sound at a time; lock screen controls with 10-second jumps; a play counts after 5 seconds of listening
•AI Shorts — videos play right in the grid and the lists
•Back — returns you to the exact spot in Explore, the AI hubs, Scenarios, your My AIs tabs and a Kyn's tabs, instantly, without the list reloading
•Chat and voice calls — Enter is safe while typing Japanese, Chinese or Korean, the message box stops growing at 12 lines (5 on phones), you can read back while a reply is written, replies look clean as they appear, and voice calls use about 10× less data
•Faster and smoother — pictures up to 7× lighter and sharper on phones, nothing jumps while pages load, home page videos play only on screen, AI Writings and My AIs open faster, long prompts fold with See more / See less, and AI Categories and Discord are back in the menu
•Fixes — Kyn pictures in Explore on iPhone and iPad, music stopping on a sort in My Music, two songs at once on a Kyn's Music tab, the "Please set up your profile" and Follow button flashes, the empty contest strip, an empty My AIs → Cards tab, and the orange border on your own songs and videos

2026-10-12

•SK-Alpha images — new Disable NSFW routing switch in a Kyn's image settings, for stylised Kyns (anime, cartoon) whose look the NSFW help breaks; a temporary fix that will stay for a while
•Image generator — a small box above Generate tells you when your settings differ from the ones the Kyn's author saved, with a Load defaults button

2026-10-06

•SK-Alpha images — better NSFW in general, sharper and cleaner pictures (some Kyns may need a small touch-up of their image settings), and 5 new styles you can save per Kyn: Bold Ink, Digital Fantasy, Fantasy Comic, Flat Anime and Grunge Horror
•ZIT images — Sk-All has a new model, better at realistic pictures and NSFW, and every ZIT model handles explicit scenes better
•Harmony — the new Video + Sound engine has a name and is here to stay; it is now in the Generate a video window on chat pictures, next to Lyric and Video Fast
•Lyric — the Video + Sound engine you know got better quality, smoother sound and animation, and more accurate specific NSFW scenes
•Explore — new Age filter in the filter bar: 25- (under 25), 25+, 30+, 35+ or 40+
•Fixes — chat pictures no longer flash and fall back to "Generating image…" until a refresh, and every open Soulkyn tab now gets new messages and pictures, not just the first one
